Sorbet Island presents latest swimwear and accessories at TFWA World Exhibition

Fashion and accessories brand Sorbet Island is presenting its latest swimwear collections – and new travel accessory sets – at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes (Bay Village, Bay 22).

Created by Sophia Mamas in 2014, the Sorbet Island brand portfolio features three key categories – swimwear, accessories and jewellery – all designed according to the brand’s key principles of inclusivity, authenticity and positivity.

Crafted in Greece by a team of artisans and creatives, each collection is inspired both by founder Sophia’s childhood summer memories and the beauty of the Aegean Sea.

Sorbet Island’s swimwear is designed to be flattering for every body, through its signature one-size-fits-most concept. Ranging from XS to XXL and accommodating cup sizes A to G, the collection is a natural fit for the travel retail market. In Cannes, the brand will introduce five new swimwear styles, and a new, 12-shade colour range. Highlights include the Lory bikini – a strapless, suntan-friendly design with a modern, feminine cut – and the Mia, which sports a classical ‘triangle’ bikini top that complements all cup sizes.

The brand’s new one-piece swimsuits Jade and Livia feature handy adjustable and removeable straps, for added versatility.

In addition to its new swimwear collections, Sorbet Island will also introduce new travel accessory sets, comprising a silk sleep mask, silk hair scrunchie and silk bracelet. Soft, gentle and naturally hypo-allergenic, silk helps to reduce friction to prevent creases and wrinkles, while offering moisture- and temperature-regulating properties for comfort. The silk scrunchies help to minimise hair breakage and split ends.

Sorbet Island’s silk bracelets, customisable for events, gifts or corporate branding, will be included in the sets, each featuring a lucky message inside a “message in a bottle’ style tube. Initially, three designs of travel sets, featuring different sleep mask/scrunchie/bracelet combinations, will be available to travel retailers.
