Diesel Teams Up with Casetify for Tech Accessories Collaboration

Diesel has teamed up with Casetify to debut a collection of fashionable, yet functional tech accessories. The Italian fashion house lends its edgy branding to a line of phone, laptop and tablet cases, as well as phone stands, wireless chargers, power banks and cardholders.

Ranging from $40 to $350 and available for purchase starting Tuesday, designs are split into two categories: grunge and bandana. The former features distressed finishes and industrial hardware, while the latter showcases vibrant prints inspired by the label’s spring 2025 collection.

The Diesel x Casetify collection also includes phone charms, chains and even a carabiner, allowing wearers to customize their devices with utilitarian twist. The Oval D Magsafe Gripstand, featuring high polish molded metal, is inspired by Diesel’s iconic 1DR handbags.

Last month, WWD revealed that Glenn Martens, Diesel’s current creative director, will also take the helm at Maison Margiela. After eleven years, Martens stepped down from his role as creative director at Y/Project last fall.

A statement from Margiela said the Belgian designer would write “the next chapter of the house, building on its unique codes and brand values.”

Martens succeeds John Galliano at Margiela, though it’s not clear when he plans on showcasing his first collection for the brand.

Renzo Rosso, chairman of OTB Group, which owns both Diesel and Margiela, said: “I have worked with Glenn for years, I have witnessed his talent and I know what he is capable of.”

“After Martin, who gave life to the maison and its unique Artisanal line, and John [Galliano], who made it the most cutting-edge couture house in the world, I am proud to have a third couturier at its helm. Glenn, who studied at Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts like Martin, has already shown his prowess and his vision in couture.”
