Inside Barron Trump’s fashion evolution from graphic tees to custom suits made to fit his 6′ 7 frame – as President’s son becomes the ‘world’s most eligible bachelor’

There has been much spotlight on the Trump family over the past couple of months, as Donald officially became U.S. President for the second time on Monday.

From his wife Melania ‘s oversized Eric Javits wide-brimmed hat to Lauren Sanchez ‘s racy white Alexander McQueen pantsuit over a white lace bustier, the inauguration fashion this year has certainly caught the eye of many.

And it seems Barron Trump has been no exception, rocking up to his father’s historic feat on Monday in a classic crisp suit paired with a silky navy blue tie.

The 18-year-old looked very smart for the event, so it’s perhaps no surprise to hear that his ensemble was custom-made.

It’s a far cry from from the famous grey and blue graphic T-shirt which had ‘The Expert’ written across it – that the teen chose to sport in 2017.

And it seems Barron, who towers over his father at 6′ 7, is dressing for the job he wants, as he will soon be the boss and heir apparent to his father’s empire – and is in the process of launching his own luxury real estate company with two business partners.

Newsweek first reported the incorporation of Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc. in Wyoming last July, meaning that Barron is on track to become one of the ‘world’s most eligible bachelors’ – according to numerous fans on social media.

Here, FEMAIL takes a look at Barron Trump’s style evolution, as he trades in casual outfits for debonair blazers and shirts…

From the age of four, it became apparent that Donald and Melania’s only son enjoys the finer things in life, especially since a clip of him saying ‘I like my suitcase,’ went viral and became a meme at the end of 2024.

Barron, who was dressed in a tiny suit, can be seen running around and picking up a Louis Vuitton briefcase that now sells for almost $10,000.

The video, which was part of a segment his parents Donald and Melania filmed for Larry King Live in 2010, showed the tot hanging out with the two of them at Trump Tower.

Barron was just 10 years old when his father became president for the first time and the family moved into the White House in June 2017.

While Melania looked typically stylish in neutral colours, donning brown culottes and a white tank top, and Donald looked smart in a navy suit, their young son went for something a little more casual.

He instead decided to wear a grey and blue t-shirt which which dubbed him an ‘expert’, perhaps echoing what is to come for Barron’s career.

But his style evolution has seen many iterations.

A few years prior, Barron had attended a red carpet event at his father’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida donning a white Ralph Lauren polo, Bermuda shorts and navy and brown boat shoes, a style which he repeated later in August 2017.

As Barron grew up, his style constantly changed based on what was hugely popular at the time.

Seemingly a stickler for trends, in 2020 Barron, who was around 13 at the time, was snapped sporting a shiny khaki green bomber jacket which he paired with a plain white t-shirt, beige chinos and New Balance trainers.

Various stars, politicians and royals are fans of the comfortable shoes, that have been worn by the Princess of Wales, Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters.

He also had a quiff haircut, which is strikingly different to the slicked hair we saw earlier this week.

That same year, Barron was seen dressed in a white bomber jacket which had the colours of the American flag alongside the hem and collar, which he paired with a white t-shirt, dark denim jeans and black trainers.

In 2021, Barron channelled vintage ensembles from the 90s, going for very simple yet stylish outfits but also sporting longer hair.

He was seen leaving Trump Tower with his mother Melania in a simple navy jumper which he tucked into indigo denim jeans matched with a simple leather belt with a silver buckle.

But from 2022 onwards and as he reached his later teenage years, it seems that Barron has learnt the rule that a good suit never goes out of fashion.

He has increasingly been snapped wearing more dapper outfits in the years leading up to his father’s second presidency, including for Easter 2024, when he was seen donning a navy number with a yellow tie.

For the suit he wore on Monday, Barron worked with Nathan Pearce from clothing brand Pearce Bespoke and got his expert opinion on various ensembles.

The company, which Barron has favoured for years, also has high-profile athletes like Eli Manning, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, and former NFL quarterback Drew Brees among its clients.

He was first introduced to the Baton Rouge-based start-up business through influencer and entrepreneur Justin Waller, who was one of Pearce Bespoke’s top customers.

‘Justin said he wanted to introduce me to Barron. Literally a week later I was on a flight down to Mar-a-Lago,’ Pearce told WWD in a new interview.

Together, Barron and Pearce picked out multiple suits, dress skirts, and ‘an ultra-dark charcoal cashmere overcoat’.

And, it looks like Pearce enjoyed Barron’s company quite a bit, as he called him a ‘super-bright kid’.

The teen, seen here with brother Eric, was even praised for his stand-up act during the ceremony, as he shook hands with outgoing President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris

‘He’s well beyond his years in terms of experience, knowledge, history,’ he added.

‘He’s just very fascinating to talk to,’ the clothier admitted to the outlet about the New York University student.

Pearce added that Barron even travelled to Louisiana, without an entourage, to review fabrics, buttons and linings for his clothes, hinting that the he takes an interest in dressing well.

‘You know what is another word I would say? Hospitable. He is down-to-earth, nice as can be and hospitable,’ Pearce continued.

He told the outlet that not only did Trump shake his hand and thank him multiple times for coming to Mar-a-Lago, but he also took him to the estate’s pro shop to pick out some things.

Pearce was then allowed to bill the items to Trump’s account.

‘I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him over the last one or two years,’ he said.

Plus, he has a good sense of humor. ‘He’s hilarious,’ he told WWD.

‘But as I said, he’s super-sharp,’ he continued. ‘You put him in a room with star businessmen and he will hold his own.’

‘He can talk to them all day because he’s witty, smart and has a dry sense of humor.’
