The budget-friendly, casual clothing retailer, J. Crew Factory, is coming to the Pike Creek Shopping Center.
Regency Centers, a national development group that operates the Pike Creek Shopping Center, lists J. Crew Factory as a new tenant on its website.
The outlet version of the full-priced J. Crew stores will occupy a 6,000-square-foot space where Rite Aid used to be in the shopping center.
A Bubbakoo’s Burritos is coming to the Pike Creek Shopping Center in 2026.
J. Crew did not respond to Delaware Online/The News Journal’s inquiry for an opening date. Entrance to space where J. Crew Factory will go remains closed off and no signage appears on the side of the building.
Delaware has one other J. Crew Factory location in the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach. The First State hasn’t had a mainline J. Crew store since it closed its Christiana Mall location in 2017.
J. Crew Factory offers similar styles to its sister brand but made with less expansive materials, resulting in lower prices and making it a popular retailer for basics.

What else is coming to the shopping center?
With J. Crew Factory’s lease at the Pike Creek Shopping Center, the center is over 80% occupied. The shopping center features a variety of tenants, from a handwear store and grocery to a gym and swim school.
The Pike Creek center also features a number of eateries, with two more on the way.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos is moving into the Pike Creek Shopping Center with plans for a 2026 opening date.
The New Jersey-based Mexican-fusion fast-casual restaurant Bubbakoo’s Burritos will open a location this year between Reno’s Ice Cream and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Bubbakoo’s Burritos offers build-your-own burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos and salads that can be customized with a range of proteins, toppings and sauces.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said the brand plans for a 2026 opening date, but didn’t specify when in the year.
The restaurant and sports bar chain P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant will take over a spot formerly occupied by Ruby Tuesday sometime this year.

P.J. Whelihan’s is known for its jumbo chicken wings, extensive beer selection and its high-energy sports-viewing atmosphere. Other menu offerings include soups, sandwiches and wraps, crab cakes, salads, dips and nachos, potato bites and fries.
